I really enjoyed eating here. My daughter and I shared the "Club on a Sub" and it was Super yummy. She said that this was the "best" sub she's ever had! We hope to come and get some more subs next time we visit. If you are getting a sub with sauce, be careful it's really messy but worth it!
An update, sure, although I must confess I'm not saying anything too different. And that's a good thing. Consistency is a beautiful thing. This last time I went in (mid-July 2024), two young women behind the counter were super nice and friendly. And the sandwiches were deliciously made again. I do need to stop ordering the turkey and cheese (I think it's called "The Engineer") so many times and try something else, though. Recommended...again!
I love the Italian Salad with chicken; reliably great! Big too. Okay, a bit expensive, as are their subs, but at least they usually are very good. Every now and then you will come across a worker who just doesn't care....usually very young and thinking they should get paid just for being there, I guess.
The costume service was excellent. Was very helpful when choosing what to eat. First time was a special visit. Just wish they'd bring one to Norwalk Ca. The food was very delicious. I'd visit again. The place was very clean.
We are staying up in Joshua tree this weekend. We needed to get some lunch for a bunch of people and ordered from firehouse subs. The food was OK in regards to flavor. The sandwich I had which was a chicken sandwich was sort of dry and doughy bread. Served the purpose for filling me up but that was about it! I would probably eat here again.
So my friend and I were driving up to Joshua tree and wanted to bring some food with us. We made a random stop at this unvisited place that we had never heard of before and I am so glad that we did! We both decided to share the Italian sub and it was so delicious! Immediately after finishing it would look up other locations closer to us for when we were back in San Diego. She ended up getting a red fireman hat I forgot to take a picture unfortunately.Can't wait to try them out in San Diego! We went around noon on a Saturday and it was pretty busy! Always a good sign of great food.
These guys are amazing! We received a warm welcome as soon as we walked in with beaming smiles to match. Our subs were made to perfection with melted cheeses and crispy fresh bread. Our daughter throughly enjoyed her Firehouse hat and loved getting to pick out her very own drink from the fridge. Beyond the food and the staff the lobby was very clean and smelled delicious when we entered.
